2/2006

I started this site back in January 1999 in an attempt to provide decent information on iguana care in captivity. I removed most of the information I had, due to my lack of updates. I plan to redo my lizards' pages and bring back the information, as time permits.

My lizards... (male.female.unknown) 1.4 green iguanas (Iguana iguana), 1.0 spiny tail iguana (Ctenosaura similis), 1.0 tokay gecko (Gekko gecko), 1.2 bearded dragons (Pogona viticeps), 1.0 prehensile-tailed skink (Corucia zebrata).

I started working with iguanas and various larger herptiles beginning in 1989, but my history with herptiles started in the mid-1970s with smaller herptiles, such as anoles and toads. Since 1990 I have taken in seventeen iguanas (not all at one time). All but four have had at least one other home than with me.

There have only been three out of the all the iguanas I've ever had of which I have been the only caretaker.

Note... I have not prepared a new graphic for the main page, but I regret to inform that Chester (May 2004),
CDR (October 2004), and Brigadune (June 2005) have passed away since I did the graphic.
